Should Christians Drink Alcohol?

“The Bible never says drinking alcohol is a sin.”

“As long as I’m not getting drunk, I can drink alcohol.”

You’re right—nowhere does the Bible say drinking alcohol is a sin. But as a Christian, your choice to drink, even occasionally, impacts more than just you.

“But take care that this right of yours does not somehow become a stumbling block to the weak.”   — 1 Corinthians 8:9 ESV

In Should Christians Drink Alcohol, Paztuh Mike draws from his personal experience with alcohol and shares biblical truth about its dangers, its effects on a believer’s walk with Christ, and why choosing to quit may be about more than ourselves.

Whether you have struggled with alcohol, watched someone you love battle addiction, only drink on occasion, or simply want to understand what the Bible says, this message will challenge you to examine your life and consider God’s Word.

If you currently drink alcohol, ask yourself:

  • How has alcohol affected my self-control and spiritual discernment?

  • Am I drinking to soothe or escape the stress and anxiety of daily life?

  • Am I willing to quit drinking altogether for the Gospel’s sake and to help others find freedom?

Watch the full message and discover God’s truth, direction, and hope for walking in freedom for the sake of the Kingdom.
