Different Paths Together for The Kingdom

Despite coming from extremely different life paths, Paztuh Mike and Anna Elisabeth have found themselves united in one unwavering pursuit: to live fully in God’s will and see His Kingdom advanced on Earth.

Anna Elisabeth: A Faith Tested and Restored

Anna Elisabeth grew up in a devout Christian home, dedicating her life to Christ at just 13 years old and going on several ministry trips by the age of 18. Yet, beneath the surface of her outward devotion, Anna wrestled with rebellion and apathy, eventually stepping away from her faith for several years. Though she wandered, God never let go of her, quietly drawing her back toward the purpose He had for her life.

Paztuh Mike: From the Streets to the Kingdom

Mike’s early years were almost the opposite. Unchurched, struggling in school, and caught up in a life of women and drugs, his greatest ambition was success in the rap world. But one evening, at his grandmother’s urging, he watched a movie that stirred something deep in him. Alone in his bedroom, Mike gave his life to Christ — a decision that completely transformed the direction of his life.

From that point on, he transitioned from making music for himself to making music for God. His faith-centered music continues to be used today as a tool for evangelism, influencing culture and pointing people to Christ.

MSP: Reaching the Streets Before Having a Church

Mike turned his passion and creativity into a platform for ministry. His record label, MSP, transitioned into Men Standing Positive, a nonprofit dedicated to reaching the most vulnerable neighborhoods in St. Louis and Illinois. MSP focused on street outreach, community events, and gospel evangelism, laying the groundwork for years of Kingdom impact.

During these years, people often asked Paztuh Mike a recurring question: “Where is your church?”

At the time, MSP partnered with many local churches, and Mike faithfully sent people to congregations throughout the city. While there was fruit, there was no single church home where those reached through outreach could consistently belong, be discipled, and grow. That unanswered question would later be fulfilled.

Anna Joins the Mission

Anna’s path crossed with Mike’s in 2011, when she began volunteering at MSP outreach events. Initially pursuing photography as a hobby, she quickly realized her gift could be used for far more than personal enjoyment. Serving alongside the MSP team, Anna discovered a real outlet for her calling — helping to see lives transformed by the gospel. By 2014, she became a permanent member of the MSP ministry team, fully embracing her purpose in ministry alongside Mike.

Together, Mike and Anna expanded the ministry’s reach, adding evangelism training, community events, and job placement support through a mentor program. In 2017, after more than two years of intensive pre-marital counseling, they were married, combining their lives, gifts, and vision for Kingdom work. Over the years, MSP has seen thousands of people come to Christ, hundreds placed in church homes, and thousands of meals provided to those in need — a testament to their commitment to practical, life-changing ministry.

Building Kingdom Citizens: The Call to Discipleship

In 2020, Mike and Anna received a clear vision from God: to start a discipleship program. They pioneered Building Kingdom Citizens, a ministry and discipleship program designed to develop real disciples and ambassadors for the Kingdom of God. Through years of outreach experience with MSP, they carried over strategies for community impact into this new vision, creating a discipleship culture centered on connection, transformation, and empowerment

Today, they continue to lead nationwide 7-day revivals, teaching about the Kingdom of God, discipleship, and authentic spiritual growth, bringing fresh conviction and perspective to the modern church.

Their Journey to Planting Rock Church Soulard

The story of Rock Church Soulard began long before Mike and Anna ever imagined they would plant it. In 2010, Paztuh Mike met Pastor Timothy Jones, along with his wife Gayle, during a street outreach event through Project STL, led by Reverend Ron Haynes — Mike’s mentor for three years. Pastor Tim served as the lead pastor of The Rock Church of St. Louis Soulard from 2009 to 2013, with Gayle faithfully serving alongside him in support and leadership. During this season, the church had a strong focus on food distribution, homeless outreach, and evangelism. A natural partnership formed between their church and MSP, lasting nearly a decade.

In 2014, Pastor Kenneth Robinson Sr. stepped into the role of lead pastor, serving through 2024, with his wife Shawn faithfully supporting and serving alongside him. During this time, Mike and Anna officially joined Rock Church Soulard as members in 2015, while continuing to use the church building as the operational headquarters for MSP. Pastor Ken and Shawn walked closely with Mike and Anna, providing over two years of premarital counseling and officiating their wedding in September 2017, helping prepare them spiritually and relationally for future leadership.

The Wilderness Season That Prepared Them

In 2019, Pastor Ken prayerfully released Mike and Anna. Both Mike and Anna sensed that God was calling them to plant a church — though neither could have imagined it would one day be from the very same building. What followed was a five-year wilderness season marked by deep refinement and radical obedience. The Lord instructed them to give away everything they owned and leave St. Louis to serve full-time in a church in Minnesota with no pay. During this season, Anna faced a life-threatening battle with cancer and experienced miraculous healing, further solidifying their trust in God and His call. (full story here)

It was also during this season that Building Kingdom Citizens (BKC) fully formed, becoming the discipleship foundation they had long sensed was missing.

From MSP to Revive My People

At the same time, MSP evolved into Revive My People. Though MSP had always served men, women, and children, the name often led people to believe it was only a men’s ministry. Revive My People carries the same heart and outreach mission street evangelism, community care, and gospel proclamation — while creating a clearer pathway for those reached to move directly into discipleship through BKC and into the life of the local church.

“Where Is Your Church?” — Answered

In 2025, after months of prayer, the Lord placed it on Paztuh Mike’s heart to reach out to the senior leadership of the Rock Church of St. Louis and shared that he felt called to pastor Rock Church Soulard. At that time, the building had been closed and empty for six months. What followed was a clear confirmation: God was calling them back to their home church — not just to reopen it, but to replant and relaunch it.

For years during the MSP outreach days, people often asked Paztuh Mike, Where is your church?” While he faithfully sent those reached through outreach into local churches, there was no church home of his own to bring them into. Today, Rock Church Soulard is the answer to that long-asked question. It is now the place where those reached through Revive My People can belong, be discipled through Building Kingdom Citizens, and be equipped to go and do the same.

A Church Built for Outreach and Discipleship

Rock Church Soulard stands as the fulfillment of years of preparation. With deep roots in the Soulard community, a strong outreach foundation through Revive My People, and a clear discipleship pathway through Building Kingdom Citizens, Paztuh Mike serves as lead pastor, with Anna faithfully serving alongside him, supporting the vision and helping lead the church forward. Together, they are building a church designed to reach the streets, disciple believers, and send them out for Kingdom impact.
