Forgiveness Matters in Light of Eternity -
Throughout the life of Jesus and the Scriptures, forgiveness is modeled extensively through simple truths and practical application.
In this sermon, Paztuh Mike gives his personal experiences of what it takes to overcome unforgiveness and truly reconcile with others. He also remains vulnerable to share where God is challenging and growing him in these areas. God requires that we love our friends, neighbors, and enemies.
He's empowered us to do this through the life, death, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ. As believers, we have no excuse in this area because we carry the grace and agape love of God inside us. Forgiveness, and even especially reconciliation, is a messy process that takes courage, but it's very possible.
God forgave us at our worst; therefore, we are commanded to forgive others. To willfully hold on to unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment in our hearts puts our very eternity with God in jeopardy.
